Two individuals arrested for vehicle theft have died in the back of a South African Police Service (SAPS) van following a tragic accident in Sunnyside, Pretoria.
Five police officers who were present in the same van suffered injuries and were subsequently transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, as reported by Gauteng provincial police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo.
