Police assisted the illegal mining Kingpin known as 'Tiger' to disappear

Authorities are searching for the suspected illegal mining Kingpin, James Neo Tshoaeli, better known as Tiger. 

The South African Police Service seems to underestimate the public's intelligence. They claim that Tiger has disappeared without a trace, but it’s hard to believe he could do this without police help.

His escape appears to have been planned before he was taken outside. It seems intentional. I suspect that some officers may have been collaborating with him for a while. He might have offered them a significant amount of money, which could explain why they allowed him to slip away.

The search is likely a waste of time and resources since he has probably already fled to Lesotho with the aid of corrupt officers. Another possibility is that the same officers who helped him escape might decide to eliminate him. If they silence him, the case would be closed. Even if he is caught again, I doubt he would expose those involved in illegal mining.
